Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology Infusion RN requiring OK or compact RN licensure and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification for a weekday infusion clinic role.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based oncology infusion clinic setting
- Provides chemotherapy and infusion care to adult oncology patients
- Monday to Friday schedule, 7am-5pm, no weekends or holidays
- 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Active RN license (Oklahoma or multistate compact eNLC)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate required
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills required
Additional Information
- Administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications per physician orders
- Monitors patient responses to treatment and documents changes in condition or orders
- Assists physicians with minor diagnostic procedures and conscious sedation cases
- Provides patient and family education related to chemotherapy treatment and side effects
- Coordinates patient follow-up care, referrals, and post-visit phone triage
- Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Travelers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, with a required 6-month separation before reapplying
- Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines and does not allow push starts
