Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology Infusion RN requiring OK or compact RN licensure and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification for a weekday infusion clinic role.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based oncology infusion clinic setting
• Provides chemotherapy and infusion care to adult oncology patients
• Monday to Friday schedule, 7am-5pm, no weekends or holidays
• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week

Requirements

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or multistate compact eNLC)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate required
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills required

Additional Information

• Administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications per physician orders
• Monitors patient responses to treatment and documents changes in condition or orders
• Assists physicians with minor diagnostic procedures and conscious sedation cases
• Provides patient and family education related to chemotherapy treatment and side effects
• Coordinates patient follow-up care, referrals, and post-visit phone triage
• Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Travelers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, with a required 6-month separation before reapplying
• Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines and does not allow push starts
