ICU Registered Nurse
Location
Louisville, Kentucky
Shift
- Night shift
- 12 hours per day
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
Contract Length
- 15 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Experience with Epic
Clinical Requirements
- Must be able to read telemetry strips
- Must be able to titrate medications
Unit Details
- ICU with 32 beds
- Patient ratio: 2:1
- Primary care nurse model with a resource nurse available to assist
- Common patient types include neuro/neurosurgical, renal with CRRT, cardiac, respiratory/ventilator, and drip management cases
Equipment / Charting
- Uses EPIC charting
- Common equipment includes Zoll monitors, Nihon Kohden bedside monitors, and CRRT Prismaflex

- Scrub color: galaxy blue
- Scrubs are not provided
