Description
RN - MICU
Overview
- Travel nursing role in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Inpatient MICU assignment caring for a primarily adult population.
- 14 weeks, with possibility to extend.
- 3x12 day shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Every other weekend; no call required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year.
- MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience).
- One completed travel assignment.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical care float experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Clinical Requirements / Experience
- Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.
- Level 1 trauma experience.
Float Scope
- May float to other ICUs, step down units, or acute care units as needed.
Other Details
- Tele testing required during the first week; two attempts to pass.
- Navy scrubs.
