Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Required Certifications & Credentials
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Must be American Heart Association (AHA) certified
- Current License and Primary Source Verification – Within 30 days prior to assignment start
- Ascension Core Competencies – HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics; completed within a year and updated yearly (minimum 80% score, max 2 attempts)
- Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation – 6 hours pre-hire education with signed attestation
- Ascension Badge Photo – Forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations
- Ascension Profile – Resume or professional profile submission required
- Ascension 2 Professional References – At least two professional references completed prior to first assignment
- Ascension Criminal Background Check Results – Includes Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender; completed within 30 days of first assignment and updated annually
- Ascension EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) – Run within 90 days of start, rerun if break in service > 90 days
- Ascension Skills Checklist – Clinical skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
- Ascension Education Verification – Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start; updated if break in service > 90 days
- Ascension Confirmation of Assignment – Provided upon initial assignment and updates for extensions
- Ascension Employment Verification – Third-party employment verification for past 7 years; updated annually or if break in service > 90 days
Personal Health & Immunization Requirements
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) – Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted
- Fit Test – Preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite; updated annually
- Hepatitis B – Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Influenza Vaccine – Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
- Positive PPD / Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire – Must provide positive IGRA or PPD results, chest x-ray within one year, and completed TB questionnaire; updated annually
- Health Statement – Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) – Required within 1 year and 30 days of start; updated annually
- Varicella – Proof of two vaccines, serological immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider; no declinations accepted
- Tdap – Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted
- Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen – Completed within 30 days prior to start; includes testing for 12 specified drugs with MRO review if applicable
Additional Requirements
- Driver’s License/State ID – Must be current, match address on file, and comply with compact license rules if applicable
- Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form – Completed onsite by facility (no pre-upload required)
This position requires compliance with all listed certifications, health screenings, and documentation prior to or at the start of the assignment.
