Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
• Holiday Requirement: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving

Required Credentials

• ARRT Certification (mandatory)
• Current professional license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
• BLS Certification (AHA required)
• Driver’s License/State ID (valid, must match address requirements)
• Professional references (at least two)
• Resume/Profile submission

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics) with minimum 80% score, completed within a year and updated yearly
• Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
• Ascension Badge Photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no filters)
• Signed Assignment Agreement

Health and Immunization Requirements

• MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted
• Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider; no declinations accepted
• Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
• Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
• Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred before start, can be completed onsite
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot): Required with specific timing; TB questionnaire updated annually
• Positive PPD: Negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire (optional)
• Health Statement: Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• 12 Panel Drug Screen: Within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter; retesting required if break in service > 90 days

Professional Verification and Background Checks

• Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 90 days of start; rerun if break in service > 90 days
• Education Verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start; rerun if break in service > 90 days
• Employment Verification for past 7 years; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days
• Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
• Confirmation of Assignment: Provided upon initial assignment and updates with extensions
