Description
Job Opportunity: CT Technologist
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
- Holiday Requirement: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving
Required Credentials
- ARRT Certification (mandatory)
- Current professional license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
- BLS Certification (AHA required)
- Driver’s License/State ID (valid, must match address requirements)
- Professional references (at least two)
- Resume/Profile submission
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics) with minimum 80% score, completed within a year and updated yearly
- Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
- Ascension Badge Photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no filters)
- Signed Assignment Agreement
Health and Immunization Requirements
- MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted
- Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider; no declinations accepted
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
- Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred before start, can be completed onsite
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot): Required with specific timing; TB questionnaire updated annually
- Positive PPD: Negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire (optional)
- Health Statement: Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- 12 Panel Drug Screen: Within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter; retesting required if break in service > 90 days
Professional Verification and Background Checks
- Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 90 days of start; rerun if break in service > 90 days
- Education Verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start; rerun if break in service > 90 days
- Employment Verification for past 7 years; updated annually or after break in service > 90 days
- Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
- Confirmation of Assignment: Provided upon initial assignment and updates with extensions
This position requires adherence to strict credentialing, health, and compliance standards to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance.
