Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Racine, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

    • 5 shifts of 8 hours (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
    • 4 shifts of 10 hours (2:00 PM - 12:00 AM)

• Floating: May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
• Experience Required:

  • Experience with GE CT scanner
  • Experience with EPIC system

Required Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ARRT (CT) Certification
• Wisconsin Radiologic License (current and verified within 30 days prior to assignment)

Required Compliance & Onboarding

• Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics) completed within one year and updated yearly
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding and Education Attestation
• Documentation of vaccinations and health requirements including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal; exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
  • Positive IGRA or PPD results with negative chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted)
  • Tdap vaccine (valid for 10 years; no declinations accepted)
• Fit Test (3M 1860 Regular, 3M 1860 Small, or 3M 1870+), updated annually
• Health Statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• 2-Step PPD or IGRA testing within required timeframes
• Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Driver’s License/State ID (must be current and valid)

Professional Requirements

• Ascension Profile (resume or professional profile)
• At least two professional references completed prior to first assignment
• Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other required screenings within 30 days prior to assignment
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 90 days prior to start
• Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
• Education Verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start
• Confirmation of Assignment documentation upon initial assignment and updates upon extensions
• Employment Verification for the past seven years
• Ascension Badge Photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)

Additional Notes

• No prior travel experience explicitly required
• Must maintain all required documentation and certifications current throughout the assignment
• Floating to other sites within 40 miles may be required based on facility needs

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with solid experience on GE CT scanners and EPIC, who are comfortable working second shifts without weekend or holiday requirements, and who meet the comprehensive credentialing and health compliance standards.
