Job Opportunity: RN - Emergency Room (Travel)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Shift Details

  • Midshift: 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM
  • 36 or 48 hour contracts acceptable
  • Holidays required

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Florida
  • BLS (AHA) certification
  • ACLS (AHA) certification
  • PALS (AHA) certification
  • TNCC certification (renewed every 4 years)
  • NIH Certification (updated per schedule)
  • Ascension Color Vision test (updated every 3 years)
  • Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics; updated every 3 years)
  • Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training; 8-hour course, updated every 2 years)
  • Ascension EKG Exam (passing score required, updated every 3 years)
  • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
  • Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding
  • Ascension Nova StatStrip training
  • Ascension Cerner Test-Out
  • Valid Driver’s License/State ID (must match address requirements)

  • Resume/Profile submission required
  • Two professional references required prior to first assignment
  • Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry (updated annually)
  • Employment verification for past 7 years (updated annually)
  • Education verification within 90 days prior to start
  • Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical, updated annually)
  • Ascension Confirmation of Assignment document required upon initial assignment and updates
  • Ascension Badge Photo (headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
