Location: Elk Grove Village, Illinois

Job Description
- Perform computerized tomographic (CT) procedures for diagnosis of disease and injury following radiologist protocols.
- Prepare and position patients accurately; select appropriate anatomic and technical parameters.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice and regulations.
- Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and recommend protocol updates as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure/Certification:
- Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) prior to hire.
- One or more of the following:
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT (in addition to CNMT certification if applicable).
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
- BLS Provider certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) obtained within 30 days of hire.
Required Experience
- Specialty: CT Technologist
- Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard industry expectations for CT Technologist roles.
Required Compliance and Onboarding Credentials
- BLS certification (AHA preferred).
- Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.
- Completion of HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA training within one year of start, updated every 3 years.
- Documented proof of immunizations and health screenings including:
- MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted).
- Fit Test (annual requirement).
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination.
- Influenza vaccine (seasonal; exemptions require mask wearing).
- TB screening (PPD or IGRA with chest X-ray if positive; annual questionnaire).
- Varicella immunity or vaccination (no declinations accepted).
- Tdap vaccine (valid for 10 years; no declinations accepted).
- Drug screening: 12 panel urine drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other required screenings within 30 days prior to start.
- Employment and education verifications within 90 days prior to start.
- Professional references (at least two) prior to first assignment.
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID (must not be expired and meet address requirements).
- Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
- Skills checklist for specialty completed within one year of start and updated annually.
- Badge photo with specified background requirements.
Additional Notes
- The Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form is completed onsite.
- Attestation for Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education must be uploaded by the agency after completion.
- No prior travel experience is explicitly required for this position.
