Job Opportunity: CT Technologist
Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Job Summary
Seeking a CT Technologist for a long-term assignment in Jacksonville, FL. This role requires a qualified professional to perform computed tomography imaging procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Onboarding & Compliance Requirements
Candidates must complete and provide documentation for the following prior to or at the start of the assignment:
Professional Credentials & Documentation
- Resume/Profile
- Two professional references
- Signed assignment agreement (offer letter and confirmation)
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other relevant screenings (updated annually or if break in service > 90 days)
- Employment verification for the past seven years (updated annually or if break in service > 90 days)
- Education verification relevant to clinical work (within 90 days of start)
- Confirmation of assignment documentation (start/end dates)
- Driver’s license or state ID (must be current and address compliant)
- Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
Certifications & Competencies
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, etc.) with minimum passing score
- Skills checklist for specialty (updated annually)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive immunity titer (no declinations accepted)
- Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Influenza vaccine during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA testing, chest x-ray if positive, and annual TB questionnaire
- Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be done onsite)
- 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
Additional Notes
- All licenses and verifications must be current and primary source verified within 30 days prior to assignment start.
- Background checks and verifications must be updated annually or if there is a break in service longer than 90 days.
- Health statements or physical exams must be completed prior to first assignment and updated annually.
- Some onboarding forms and attestations are completed onsite or uploaded by the agency/facility.
This position is ideal for CT Technologists seeking a long-term assignment in Florida with comprehensive credentialing and compliance requirements.
