Description

Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Job Summary

Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Implement and monitor patient care plans; assess and communicate patient condition.
Coordinate care across multiple disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Execute physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in a stressful environment.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
