Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 06:45 AM – 07:15 PM (EOW; EOH; no block scheduling)

Job Description

• Work in a larger Emergency Department (ED) setting.
• Must have 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Prior travel experience is required.
• Use of EPIC electronic health record system.
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within 40 miles as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Management of Assaultive Behavior (MOAB) training.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

• Signed assignment agreement and onboarding documents required prior to start.
• Onsite onboarding and training required.
• Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leadership.
• Hiring manager evaluation and name change documentation are optional.

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room RN with prior travel experience, strong certifications, and the ability to adapt to floating assignments within a 40-mile radius.
