Job Opportunity: RN Step Down
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on a step-down unit, with placement based on greatest need (PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry units).
- Candidates with Med-Surg or Stepdown RN experience are eligible as both require the same credentialing.
- Must be able to float within skill set to other units onsite or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
- Requires 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
- Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year.
- Med-Surg and Telemetry experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
