Job Opportunity: RN Step Down

Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Description

• Step Down Registered Nurse position requiring 2 years of experience.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
• May be required to travel to other nearby sites within the Fox Valley region as needed.
• Schedule follows every other week (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or competency
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Notes

• All certifications and verifications must be current and updated as required.
• Extensions require updated testing and documentation.
• Compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics is mandatory.
• Must be able to travel between multiple sites within the region if needed.

This position is ideal for experienced Step Down RNs who are comfortable with travel assignments and meet the comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
