Description

Registered Nurse (ICU) - Long-Term Assignment

Location: Franklin, Wisconsin
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work on an Acuity Adaptable Unit (not a pure ICU) with exposure every other week to End of Week (EOW) and End of Hour (EOH) shifts.
Requires 2 years of nursing experience with ICU experience, including care of post-catheterization patients.
Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) required.
Experience with balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter is a plus.
Competency in sheath pulls required.
Must be proficient with EPIC electronic health record system.
May need to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within 40 miles as needed.
Prior travel experience is required.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin.
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including ICU experience within the last year.
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Competency in sheath pulls.
