Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical) - Indiana

Job Overview

Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care on a 16-bed Medical Surgical/Step Down Unit within a Critical Access Hospital.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, telemetry monitoring, patient and family education, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
Must recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, provide stabilization, and facilitate transfers to higher levels of care.
Requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to care for a diverse patient population in a rural healthcare setting.
Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience
Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
