CT Technologist Position - Kansas, Wamego

Job Details

• Location: Wamego, Kansas
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Schedule: Thursday afternoons off
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Employment Type: Long-term assignment (LTA)
• Work Setting: Radiology department covering X-ray and CT scans for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
• Additional Duties: Includes patient care, daily phone and scheduling responsibilities
• On-Call: Rotation approximately every fourth weekend, plus shared holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Health and Safety Requirements

• Proof of immunizations and health screenings including:

  • MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted)
  • Varicella (two vaccines, immunity evidence, or history verified by provider; no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • Tdap (valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine (optional; if declined, mask required during flu season)
• Tuberculosis screening:

  • 2-step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes
  • If positive, negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire
• Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be completed onsite)
• Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually

Documentation and Onboarding Requirements

• Professional credentials and documents required for submission or onboarding include:

  • Resume/Profile
  • Two professional references
  • Driver’s license or state ID (must be current and address must match requirements)
  • Criminal background check including social security trace, OIG search, national sex offender registry, and others within 90 days of start
  • Employment verification for the past seven years
  • Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start
  • Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment (agency letterhead)
  • Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no filters)
  • Completion of core competencies and skills checklist relevant to specialty, updated annually
  • Medical imaging contract worker onboarding education attestation

Additional Notes

• Onsite completion of some onboarding forms is possible
• Must comply with all facility policies including HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission, and National Patient Safety Goals
• No prior travel experience explicitly required for this position
