Location: Pensacola, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Work Schedule:

• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts required if holiday falls on a regularly scheduled shift

Job Description

• Perform duties as a multi-modality technologist, including both X-ray and CT imaging.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Registered Technologist credential (ARRT)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum 13 weeks availability for assignment

Experience

• No explicit years of experience stated; however, must meet credentialing requirements for Radiology Technologist and ARRT certification.

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

Candidates must complete and submit the following prior to or at onboarding:

Professional Credentials and Documentation

• Resume/Profile
• Two professional references
• Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and other required screenings (updated annually)
• Employment verification for the past seven years
• Education verification relevant to clinical work (updated if break in service > 90 days)
• Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead

Certifications and Training

• BLS (AHA) certification
• Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics (minimum 80% passing score, updated every 3 years)
• Skills checklist for specialty (updated annually)
• Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be completed onsite)

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Proof of two MMR vaccines or positive immunity titer (no declinations accepted)
• Proof of two Varicella vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
• Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
• Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
• Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
• Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test within required timeframes; if positive, chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire required
• Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter

Additional Notes

• Holiday and weekend work are mandatory as scheduled.
• Must comply with all credential verification and background checks prior to start.
• Onsite onboarding includes submission of badge photo and completion of certain forms.

This position is ideal for a licensed Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification who is comfortable working night shifts and fulfilling weekend and holiday requirements in a multi-modality imaging role.
