Description

Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Department Mid Shift

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend plus holidays


Job Description

  • Registered Nurse for Emergency Department, mid shift coverage.
  • Requires 2 years of acute care experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maryland.
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Acute Care nursing experience.

Additional Information

  • Must complete signed assignment agreement prior to onboarding.
  • Color vision test completed prior to start and updated every 3 years.
  • Badge photo required (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no filters).
  • Confirmation of assignment and contract worker onboarding completed onsite.
  • Skills checklist to be completed within one year of start and updated annually.
  • Annual updates required for drug screen, criminal background check, employment verification, and health screenings.
  • Extensions require updated documentation and re-certifications as applicable.

Important Notes

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
  • Telemetry (Tele) is not part of this role.
  • Flu vaccine is optional; declinations accepted but mask wearing required during flu season.
  • No pay or billing information included.

This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Department RNs seeking a mid-shift long-term assignment with comprehensive onboarding and credentialing requirements.
