Job Opportunity: RN Step Down

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work on a unit with the greatest need, which may be Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry based on your skills.
• Must have 2 years of experience in PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care.
• Accepts RNs with Med-Surg or Stepdown experience (same credentialing for both).
• Must be able to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within 40 miles if needed.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 2 years of Stepdown experience, including experience within the last year
• Med-Surg experience
• Telemetry experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Information

• Must complete all required documentation and credential verifications prior to assignment start.
• Onsite onboarding and training required.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

This position is ideal for experienced RNs with a strong background in PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care who are flexible and able to work in various units as needed.
