Description
CT Technologist – Jacksonville, Florida
Position Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Shift: Night shift (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Schedule: No weekends
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Valid Driver’s License
Health and Safety Requirements
- Proof of immunizations and health screenings:
- Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
- Two Varicella vaccines, serological immunity, or documented history (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
- Tuberculosis screening:
- 2-step PPD or negative IGRA within specified timeframes
- If positive, negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire
- Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be completed onsite)
- Annual 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually
Onboarding Requirements
- Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead
- Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
- Forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations)
- Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
Additional Notes
- All license and certification verifications must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start
- Background checks and verifications must be updated annually or if there is a break in service longer than 90 days
- Core competencies must be completed within one year of start and updated every three years
- Drug screen must include all 12 specified substances with MRO review if applicable
