CT Technologist – Jacksonville, Florida

Position Details

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Shift: Night shift (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
• Schedule: No weekends
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Valid Driver’s License

Health and Safety Requirements

• Proof of immunizations and health screenings:

  • Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
  • Two Varicella vaccines, serological immunity, or documented history (no declinations accepted)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
  • Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
• Tuberculosis screening:

  • 2-step PPD or negative IGRA within specified timeframes
  • If positive, negative chest X-ray within one year and annual TB questionnaire
• Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred before start, can be completed onsite)
• Annual 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and updated annually

Onboarding Requirements

• Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead
• Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding education attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
• Forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations)
• Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually

Additional Notes

• All license and certification verifications must be completed within 30 days prior to assignment start
• Background checks and verifications must be updated annually or if there is a break in service longer than 90 days
• Core competencies must be completed within one year of start and updated every three years
• Drug screen must include all 12 specified substances with MRO review if applicable
