RN ICU

Overview

• Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Employment type: LTA
• Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
• Contract length: 26 weeks
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Role Details

• CVICU and Neuro experience is preferred but not required.
• The role will float to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU.
• May also be assigned Med/Surg/IMC patients if needed.
• Floating may occur onsite within skill set, or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start.
• Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually for the specialty.
• At least two professional references.
• EPIC familiarity is listed in the source.

Preferred Qualifications

• CVICU experience
• Neuro experience

• Resume or profile required.
• Ascension Specialty Exam required prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Color Vision required prior to start and updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Core Competencies required within a year of start and updated every 3 years.
• NIH Certification required and updated on the source schedule.
• Ascension EKG Exam required with passing score and updated every 3 years.
• Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation required.
• Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding required onsite.
• Ascension Nova StatStrip required annually.
• Ascension Epic Test-Out required.
• Ascension Badge Photo required.
• MMR required.
• Fit Test required.
• Hepatitis B required.
• Influenza Vaccine required, with declinations accepted.
• Health Statement required.
