Cath Lab Tech

Location: Cooperstown, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM (10-hour shifts, 4 days per week)
On-Call:

• One weekday per week
• Every 4th to 5th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM)

Job Overview

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures in a high-acuity Cath Lab setting.
• Utilize Philips x-ray equipment and Xper monitoring system for imaging and patient monitoring.
• Use Epic software for documentation and care coordination.
• Responsible for IR, Vascular, and Electrophysiology (EP) cases; experience in these areas is highly preferred.
• Work collaboratively within a dedicated team focused on precise and timely cardiac care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in New York
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic software

Health and Compliance Requirements

• MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, Tdap (optional), TB Test, Annual TB Questionnaire
• Fit Test
• Physical/Health Statement
• Drug Screen

Professional and Background Requirements

• Driver’s License or State ID
• Two professional references
• Criminal background check
• Resume submission required
• Education and employment verification
• National and State Sex Offender Registry checks
• Completion of core competencies, unit exam, and skills checklist
• Security credentials acknowledgment and confidentiality agreement
