Description

Cath Lab Technician - Travel Position

Location: Cooperstown, New York
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Overview

Seeking experienced Cath Lab Technicians skilled in cardiac catheterization procedures and advanced imaging technology. The role requires proficiency with Philips x-ray equipment, Xper monitoring system, and Epic software. Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-acuity environment and have experience performing IR, Vascular, and EP cases (highly preferred).

Shift and Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts, 4 days per week)
On-call approximately 1 weekday per week
On-call coverage every 5th to 6th weekend (Friday 5:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM)

Required Experience and Certifications

Prior Cath Lab experience is essential
Preferred experience: Cath, TAVR, LAAO, EP/pacemakers, ablations, vascular, and IR procedures

Equipment and Software

Philips x-ray equipment
Xper monitoring system
Epic software for documentation and care coordination

Credentials and Compliance Requirements

BLS certification
CCI certification
License/Certificate verification
Bassett Core Competencies, Unit Exam, and Skills Checklist
Immunizations and health screenings including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, TB Test, Varicella, Fit Test, Annual TB Questionnaire, Physical/Health Statement, Drug Screen
Professional verifications including Driver’s License/State ID, 2 Professional References, Criminal Background Check, Resume, Webchecks, National and State Sex Offender Registry checks, Education and Employment Verification
Completion of facility-specific forms and acknowledgements

Additional Information

Requested time off considered on a case-by-case basis
Interview process is flexible (phone or Zoom) with quick scheduling turnaround
