CT Technologist Position

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Facility: Massachusetts General Hospital (Mass General Brigham)
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 40 hours, Evening shift, Monday to Friday
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

• Busy Level 1 trauma and stroke center
• 1000+ bed academic medical center in downtown Boston
• Well-supported CT department with Siemens and GE CT scanners

Required Credentials & Certifications

• BLS Certification: AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted (AHA preferred)
• ARRT Certification
• Professional License: Primary source verification required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
• Fit Test: N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite fit testing)
• MMR Vaccination or Immunity: Documentation of measles, mumps, rubella vaccines or proof of immunity
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot within 3 months of start date
• Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
• Criminal Background Checks:

  • MGB Criminal Background Check (within 45 days prior to start)
  • Massachusetts CORI check (within 30 days prior to start)
  • National Sex Offender Registry check (within 30 days prior to start)
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid lists)
• Education Verification: Highest level of education verified
• SSN Trace: Addresses/aliases for past 7 years required
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation

Additional Preferred/Optional Credentials

• Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred to have vaccination series or proof of immunity or declination
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no exemptions
• Tdap Vaccine: Preferred within last 10 years
• Positive PPD Follow-up: If positive TB test, chest x-ray documentation required
• TB Symptom Survey: Required if positive PPD, updated annually

Submission Requirements

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above)
• Skills checklist
• Candidate submission coversheet

Notes

• No religious exemptions for N95 fit testing or influenza vaccine
• Fit testing must be completed on the MGB N95 Respirator Fit Test Record Form
• Background checks and credential verifications are strictly enforced and must be current
• Documentation must be uploaded as required for onboarding and submission
