Shift: 36 hours per week, Day/Night rotation (mostly nights), includes weekend rotation

Job Requirements & Credentials

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid professional nursing license (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)
• Primary source verification of license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date
• BLS certification (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above)
• Skills checklist required for submission

Health & Immunization

• N95 Fit Test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no religious exemptions)
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start date
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation (if fit test required)
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
• Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
• If positive TB test, chest x-ray documentation required

Background & Compliance Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Social Security Number trace as part of criminal background check
• Education verification through background check company

Additional Requirements

• MGB MVH Housing Agreement required if moving into shared housing
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for extensions
• Candidate submission coversheet required for submission

Summary

This is a 13-week RN Medical/Surgical position with mostly night shifts and weekend rotations in Oak Bluffs, MA. Shared housing is available with restrictions, and a car is required. Comprehensive credentialing, immunization, and background checks are mandatory prior to onboarding. Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions allowed.
