Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures with high proficiency under the direction of CT Manager and Clinical Lead.
• Ensure patient safety and provide excellent customer service.
• Work shift: 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, 36 hours per week, days and every other weekend (EOW).

Required Experience & Skills

• Specialty: CT Technologist
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required.
• Skill Sets:

  • Proficient CT scanning
  • IV and oral/GI contrast administration
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergencies
  • EMR documentation (Epic, Visage)
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Professional and positive demeanor
• Equipment Experience: GE CT scanner experience preferred but not required.
• Shift Requirements: Rotating shifts as required.

Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required
• BLS certification (AHA only accepted for this facility)
• N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no exemptions
• TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
• Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
• Additional preferred: Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity, Tdap vaccine within 10 years

Background & Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender registry
• Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists
• Verification of professional license and highest education level
• Social Security Number trace and address history for past 7 years
• Submission of references and skills checklist required

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts as needed.
• Strong emphasis on compliance with vaccination and health screening requirements.
