Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse, CCU (Day Shift)
Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care and desired outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
- Specialty in RN CCU (Critical Care Unit) nursing skills
Experience
- Specialty: RN in Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
- Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard RN CCU experience expected (minimum BSN preferred)

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements
- Submission of a recent professional photo (color, plain background, no filters)
- Documentation of immunizations and health screenings including:
- MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccination or immunity proof
- TB test within 3 months of start date (or negative blood test)
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity (strongly preferred)
- Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 1 year
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years (preferred)
- Criminal background checks including:
- State and national criminal background checks
- Massachusetts CORI check
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid/Medicare lists)
- Verification of education and professional license through primary source
- Resume including last 7 years of work experience with city and state
- Two professional references within 4 years (at least one supervisor-level)
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year
- N95 respirator fit test and medical clearance within 1 year (no exemptions allowed)
- Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam with minimum 80% passing score
Additional Notes
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start
- Background checks and credential verifications must be current and updated if there is a break in service longer than 6 months
- All documentation must be maintained and updated according to organizational policies
