MRI Technician - Long-Term Assignment

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work scheduled for three 12-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certification

• ARRT certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year is required.

Health & Safety Requirements

• N95 Fit Test completed within 365 days prior to start date; must be updated annually.
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
• Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) required.
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date; updated if break in service exceeds 6 months.
• Physician Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date; updated if break exceeds 6 months.
• Positive TB skin test requires negative chest X-ray documentation.

Background & Screening

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date; updated if break exceeds 6 months.
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date; updated if break exceeds 6 months.
• National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start date; updated annually.
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date; updated annually.
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check.
• Education verification of highest level achieved.

Documentation & Submission Requirements

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
• Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
• Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment.
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for extensions.

Additional Notes

• No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing.
• Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start.
• If legal name differs from credential documentation, supporting legal name change documents must be provided.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement for this position.
