Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery
Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating shifts
Job Description
- Work in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system required
- Postpartum care experience required
- Shared housing provided at no cost
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Compliance and Onboarding Requirements
- Completion of FEMA ICS 100 Training (mandatory, no exceptions)
- Fit testing for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date (no exemptions allowed)
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation (if fit test required)
- Documentation of MMR immunizations or proof of immunity
- TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
- Physician health statement within 365 days of start date
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender registry checks
- Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days of start and annually
- Verification of highest level of education achieved
- Submission of a detailed resume covering the past 7 years of work experience
- Two professional references within the last 4 years (minimum one supervisor-level)
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for any extensions
- Color vision test within 365 days of start date
Additional Notes
- Must update housing agreement if there is a break in assignment of 35 days or more
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start or at designated locations if extending assignment
- Background checks include international residence or travel exceeding 30 consecutive days within the last 7 years
- Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
