Overview
- Role: M/S Tele RN
- Location: Salem, Massachusetts
- Employment type: LTA
- Shift: Nights, 36 hours per week
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Floating: Required
- Unit: Davenport 5 - Surgical Stepdown Unit
- Unit description: Two Med/Surgical Units, including one 15-bed unit and one 8-bed Surgical Stepdown Unit
- Bed count: 23
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- 2 years or more of total travel experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Ability to read telemetry strips
- Experience with chest tube management
- Experience with NG tubes
- Experience with epidural management
- Experience with capnography
Preferred Qualifications
- Management of arterial lines
- Management of neo-synephrine
Patient Population
- Post-operative patients from General, GYN, Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, Oral, Plastics, and Trauma surgeries
Additional Notes
- Free on-site parking
- Patient ratios: 6-10 patients per PCA, 3-5 patients per RN, and 2-3 per RN for stepdown ratios
