Description
Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 52 weeks)
Shift: Night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Unit: 37-bed Cardiac Telemetry
Patient Ratios: Typically 1:5 or 1:6; rare cases 1:7
Floating: Must be able to float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Orthopedics units
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on a cardiac telemetry floor.
- Must be available to work the specified shifts from June 11 to June 12 (dates noted for initial scheduling).
- Ability to adapt and float to other units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Telemetry nursing experience of at least 1 year within the last year
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
- ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Workplace Violence Prevention (DCI/BVP) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
