RN Cath Lab
Overview
- Location: Passaic, New Jersey
- Employment type: Per diem
- Schedule: Day shift, 07:00–15:30
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Hours: No guaranteed hours
- Patient population: Adult and geriatric
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- DCI/BVP
- Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN preferred
Role Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care
- Communicate with physicians about patient condition as needed
- Maintain equipment and inventory
- Assess procedure room or equipment readiness
- Obtain supplies for individual cases
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during cardiovascular lab procedures
- Monitor and record patient condition continuously in the cardiovascular lab
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
