RN Labor and Delivery
Assignment Overview
- Per diem strike assignment
- Night shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification, as applicable
- PALS certification, as applicable
- NRP certification, as applicable
- AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
- Must be able to report for onboarding by 9/14 and work the strike starting 9/15
- Must attend orientation to be eligible to work the strike
Onboarding Requirements
- Driver’s license, state ID, or passport
- Social Security card or passport in lieu of Social Security card
- Prime OIG screening
- Prime drug screening within 60 days of start
- Prime color-blind test
- Prime agency attestation
- Prime SAM/EPLS search
- Resume
- Two references, including one from a manager or direct leader/supervisor
- MMR proof of 2 vaccines or positive titer showing immunity
- Varicella vaccination or titer showing immunity
- COVID-19 vaccination: 2 vaccines and booster, or declination
- Hepatitis B immunization record, immune titer, or declination
- Influenza vaccine or declination during the required season
- TB test within 1 year of start date
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Tdap
- Physical/health statement stating clear to work
- Annual respirator fit test completed before start
- Prime core competencies exam with a score of 80% or higher
- Prime skills checklist
- Prime criminal background check
- Badge photo
- Form I-9
- Signed job description
- DCI/BVP workplace violence prevention training
- Essentials onboarding packet
- Onboarding education attestation
- Nursys verification
- License/certificate verification
Notes
- If no badge is issued, a signed manual timesheet is required for payment
- Orientation is unpaid if the candidate attends orientation but does not work the strike
