Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Boise, Idaho
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment

Job Description

• Coverage needed for an RN going out on FMLA starting January 1.
• Position is in the Operating Room (OR).

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Idaho
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required for RNs working in critical care areas (including OR)
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start
• Fit test
• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
• COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster) or approved exemption
• MMR vaccination proof or immunity
• Hepatitis B vaccination series started prior to start date
• Influenza vaccine proof or approved exemption (seasonal)
• 2-step PPD or IGRA TB test; chest x-ray if positive TB
• Varicella vaccination proof or immunity
• Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year
• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county) within last 7 years
• Education verification (degree or diploma/GED)
• Exclusion screenings (EPLS, OIG, NSO)
• Conflict of interest and code of conduct forms
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
• Joint Commission CORE exam within the last year
• Skills checklist for clinical competency (provided by agency)
