Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)
Location:
- City: Nampa
- State: Idaho
Employment Type:
- Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift:
- 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Idaho
- Labor and Delivery nursing experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Current AWHONN or Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
- Current STABLE certification
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Fit Test for respiratory protection.
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days prior to start (includes testing for multiple substances; no THC allowed).
- COVID-19 vaccination proof including booster or approved exemption/declination (exemptions not accepted in CA or IL).
- Influenza vaccine proof or approved exemption/declination (exemptions not accepted in CA or IL).
- MMR vaccination proof or immunity titer.
- Hepatitis B vaccination series initiated prior to start.
- Varicella vaccination proof or immunity titer.
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA TB test with chest x-ray if indicated by positive result.
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.
- Color Vision test.
Professional and Administrative Requirements
- Resume and skills checklist updated within the last year.
- Two professional references.
- Criminal background check covering federal, nationwide, and county records for the last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma.
- Verification of license/certifications dated within 30 days of start.
- Various compliance forms including:
- Code of Conduct
- Conflict of Interest Disclosure
- Confidentiality and Information Security Agreement
- Integrity and Audit Services Form
- System Access Form (to be completed one week before start)
- Specialty-specific competency testing and Joint Commission CORE exam completed within the last year.
- National and state-level exclusion and sanction screenings (EPLS, OIG, NSO) dated within 30 days of start.
Additional Notes
- This position requires working in a Labor and Delivery setting with night shifts.
- All certifications and verifications must be uploaded and verified in the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
This role is ideal for experienced Labor and Delivery RNs who meet the certification and compliance requirements and are available for a 13-week night shift assignment in Idaho.
