Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Location: Silver Spring, Maryland
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Occasional weekends

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Current RN license valid in Maryland
• Wound Care Certification (WCC) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Wound Care experience of at least 2 years, including experience within the last year
• Current Wound Care Certification (WCC)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Required Qualifications & Onboarding Documentation

• License verification dated within 30 days of start
• BLS certification (front and back images)
• Fit test
• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
• COVID-19 vaccine proof or approved exemption (booster required through Sept 2025)
• MMR vaccination proof or IgG titer
• Hepatitis B vaccination series started prior to start date
• Influenza vaccine proof or approved exemption (valid for upcoming flu season)
• 2-step PPD or IGRA TB test (with chest x-ray if positive, per regional requirements)
• Varicella vaccination proof or IgG titer
• Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work (within last year)
• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years) dated within 30 days of start
• Motor Vehicle Report (if applicable) dated within 30 days of start
• Various professional and compliance forms including confidentiality, code of conduct, conflict of interest, integrity and audit services, system access, and others as required by onboarding process
• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
• Education verification (highest degree or diploma)
• CORE exam within the last year
• Exclusion and sanction screenings (EPLS, OIG, OFAC, NSO) dated within 30 days of start

Additional Notes

• Must be able to work occasional weekends
• All required documentation must be uploaded and verified prior to start date
• Agency will provide skills checklist for clinical competency verification
