Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Shift

Thursday - Saturday nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

No call required
In-house with charge RN for the full shift

Job Description / Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in the Operating Room with a focus on neuro cases (including burr holes, craniotomies, etc.), not limited to spine cases
Proficient in general and orthopedic trauma cases and basic Da Vinci robotic surgery assistance
Level two OR nurse: manage all case types except burn patients
No scrubbing required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of OR Circulate experience, with experience within the last year
Neurosurgical experience, including burr holes and craniotomies
Proficiency in orthopedic trauma
Basic proficiency with Da Vinci robotic surgery assistance
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Emergency Pediatric Life Support (EPLS) certification
