Respiratory Therapist (Long-Term Assignment)
Location: Stafford Springs, Connecticut
Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 16 weeks

Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Connecticut
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS
- PALS issued by the American Heart Association
- NRP
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- License and certification verifications must be dated within 30 days of start and include scanned online verification with machine-generated date.
- Fit Test and Respirator Evaluation with physician signature required.
- Specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist must be completed within the past year.
- COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster by Sept 2025), or declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL).
- Proof of MMR (2 vaccinations or IgG titer), Varicella (vaccination or IgG titer), Hepatitis B vaccination series (titers not accepted), Tdap vaccine (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction).
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (within 1 year for CT).
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (NO THC).
- Background checks including federal, nationwide, county criminal (last 7 years), SSN verification, EPLS, OIG, NSO, OFAC, and education verification.
- Signed professional forms including Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Integrity and Audit Services Form, and System Access Form (completed one week before start).
- CORE exam and other Joint Commission testing within the past year.
Additional Notes
- All documentation must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding.
- Agency will provide the skills checklist for clinical contractors.
- Flu vaccine is optional but recommended (declination accepted except in CA or IL).
This position is a night shift Respiratory Therapist role on a 16-week long-term assignment in Connecticut, requiring multiple certifications, thorough onboarding documentation, and compliance with health and safety standards.
