Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri

Position Details

Shift: Night, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Monday - Thursday)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend/Holiday: No weekends or holidays required

Experience & Certifications

Required Specialty Experience: 3+ years in OR nursing (higher value between 2+ and 3+ years applied)
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Patient Population: Surgical / OR patients, overnight post-op care (not PACU)

Job Responsibilities & Skills

Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for all age groups
Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and navigate multiple computer systems
Strong problem-solving skills
Deliver quality care in a post-operative setting
Work well independently and as part of a team

Additional Information

Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval)
Dress code: Black scrubs
This role involves caring for overnight patients who had surgery during the day (not a PACU role)
