Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Assignment Details
- Start Date: 10/28
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 36 hours, Night shift
- Patient Ratio: 1:1-2
- Experience Required: Minimum 3 years preferred; 2 years may be considered
- Charge and Preceptor Experience: Required
- First Time Traveler: Accepted
- Charting System: Cerner

- Magnet Certified Facility
- Flu Vaccine: Mandatory for all employees
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC certified
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Intermediate AWHONN
- C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) through NCC (must hold or register within first 2 weeks)
Preferred Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- STABLE
- C-EFM through NCC
Job Responsibilities & Skills
- Circulate for C-section
- LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) experience required
- Proven experience in Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum, and Couplet Care
- Float to Postpartum/Couplet care and “feeder/grower” assignments in SCN (Level II NICU)
- On-call/Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Preferred Skills: Triage, sterile vaginal exams, Baby Friendly hospital experience
Health & Compliance Requirements
- Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
- Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccination strongly recommended; declination requires mask-wearing for patient encounters
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the past year (or annual questionnaire if history of latent TB)
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
- Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana), updated annually
- N95 Fit Test within 9 months of start, updated annually (client may complete onsite if needed)
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
Background & Verification
- Criminal background check within 90 days, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks prior to start and monthly thereafter
- Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience in the last 3 years
- Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education and license verification
- Skills checklist and competency exams required and must be current (e.g., medication, dysrhythmia/EKG)
Additional Notes
- Must complete facility-specific modules prior to start
- Valid driver’s license required if driving is an essential job function
- Facility requires annual acknowledgment of orientation safety manual
- Facility is Baby Friendly certified, emphasizing family-centered care
