Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)

Position Overview

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures with high proficiency under CT Manager and Clinical Lead supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and provide excellent customer service.
• Work 36 hours per week, primarily Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts.
• Rotating shifts may be required.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience with GE CT scanners preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills:

  • Proficient in CT scanning, IV and oral/GI contrast administration.
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
  • EMR documentation skills (Epic, Visage).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Professional and positive demeanor.
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (CT) certification required.
  • Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required.

Required Credentials & Compliance (Must be completed prior to or at onboarding)

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (CT)
  • BLS (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• Licenses:

  • Valid Massachusetts CT license with primary source verification (no conditional licenses).
• Health & Immunizations:

  • Fit Test for N95 respirator within 1 year, updated annually.
  • MMR vaccination or proof of immunity.
  • Influenza vaccine during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30).
  • TB test (skin or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity preferred (optional).
  • Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 1 year, updated if >6 month break.
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred (optional).
• Background Checks & Professional Verifications:

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break.
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break.
  • Social Security Number trace covering last 7 years.
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
  • Education verification of highest degree achieved.
• Documentation Required for Submission:

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above).
  • Skills checklist.
  • Candidate submission coversheet.
• Additional:

  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation (if fit test required).
  • Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for any extensions.

Summary

This is a 13-week CT Technologist contract position requiring proficiency in CT scanning, preferably with GE equipment, and the ability to work weekend night shifts. Candidates must hold ARRT certification and a Massachusetts CT license, meet health and immunization requirements, and complete comprehensive background and credential verifications.
