CT Tech Travel Position - Saint Louis, Missouri

Job Details

  • Specialty: CT Tech (Radiology)

  • Shift: Evenings, 5 days a week, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
  • Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
  • Contract Length: 16 weeks
  • Weekend Hours: Every weekend
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Required Licensure: CT Registry and BLS (AHA only)
  • Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
  • Float Requirements: As required by facility

Job Description

  • Provide diagnostic CT scans for interpretation by radiologists or physicians.
  • Support all patient areas including Inpatient (IP), Outpatient (OP), and Emergency Room (ER).
  • Assist radiologists with interventional and special procedures such as biopsy, ablation, myelography, arthrography, etc.
  • Provide essential patient care during procedures.
  • Apply principles of radiation safety.
  • Organize daily schedule and serve as a dedicated resource to the CT team on shift.
  • Must be adaptable and able to work well with multiple people simultaneously.
  • Evening shift orientation occurs on day shift; availability for the entire orientation week is required.

Additional Notes

  • Flu vaccination (or approved exemption) is mandatory for all travelers from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted.
