Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, Nights
Schedule: Every other weekend

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent RN experience
• Ability to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips
• Licenses: Wisconsin or Compact RN license in hand
• Certifications required before start:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
• Two professional references from the last year, including one from the most recent assignment
• Background check (7 years) and skills checklist required annually

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Certifications (may be required depending on specialty)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
• NIH Stroke Certification (required for ICU, IMC/IMCU, Med Surg, Step Down RN roles)

Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Color Blind Testing (required for dialysis/kidney center roles)
• Competency Exam (as applicable)

Health and Compliance Documents

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test (QGold) within 1 year or chest X-ray within 60 days of start
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 week of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)
• Photo for badge (passport-style, no filters)
• Facility-specific compliance and confidentiality forms to be completed prior to start

References

• Two professional references verified within 2 years
• For inpatient RN roles (MS, MS/TELE, IMC, Stepdown, ICU), one reference must be from the most recent acute care assignment with performance comments

This position is a travel/contract role requiring night shifts and specific certifications and clearances prior to start.
