Location: Saint Louis, Missouri

Position Details
- Department: Operating Room
- Role: RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant)
- Number of Openings: 4
- Shift: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7 AM - 7 PM or 9 AM - 9 PM)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Hours: As needed
- Call Requirements: Required; details to be discussed during interview
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Certifications & Experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience providing quality care in an OR setting
Preferred Skills
- Experience scrubbing preferred
- Ability to assist with general, GYN, GU, Orthopedic, ENT surgeries
- Robotic surgery experience preferred
Unit & Work Environment
- Patient Type: Surgical / OR patients
- EMR System: EPIC
- Must be able to navigate multiple computer systems
- Team-oriented but able to work independently
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
Additional Information
- Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval)
- Opportunity to cover multiple staff on leave
- Work with 7 new surgeons recently added to the staff
