Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri

Number of Openings: 4
Shift: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7 AM - 7 PM or 9 AM - 9 PM)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: As needed
Call Requirements: Required; details to be discussed during interview
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Certifications & Experience

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room)
Minimum 2+ years of experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience providing quality care in an OR setting

Preferred Skills

Experience scrubbing preferred
Ability to assist with general, GYN, GU, Orthopedic, ENT surgeries
Robotic surgery experience preferred

Unit & Work Environment

Patient Type: Surgical / OR patients
EMR System: EPIC
Must be able to navigate multiple computer systems
Team-oriented but able to work independently
Dress Code: Black scrubs

Additional Information

Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval)
Opportunity to cover multiple staff on leave
Work with 7 new surgeons recently added to the staff
