Job Opportunity: RN Clinic (Long-Term Assignment)

Location: Nantucket, Massachusetts

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, day shift with some evenings possible

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts RN Nursing License (no conditional licenses accepted)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• Training:

  • FEMA ICS 100 Training (must be completed prior to onboarding)
• Health & Immunizations:

  • N95 Fit Test (within 365 days of start date, updated annually)
  • MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
  • TB test (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date
  • Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 365 days
  • Hepatitis B vaccine series or proof of immunity strongly preferred
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
• Background Checks & Verifications:

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start
  • Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
  • Education verification of highest degree achieved
• Documentation & Submission Requirements:

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
  • Two recent professional references (minimum one supervisor or above)
  • Skills checklist
  • Candidate submission coversheet
  • Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance and for any extensions
• Additional:

  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation (if fit test required)
  • Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation (if applicable)
