• Services: Inpatient/outpatient emergency, dental, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral and eye surgery, urological procedures
• Approximately 49% of surgeries are outpatient/ambulatory
• Diverse patient population including Native American tribes and other ethnic groups
• Multidisciplinary medical and dental staff

Position Summary

• Role: Clinical Nurse
• Responsibilities: Perform a variety of nursing care procedures independently, following physician orders, standards of care, and hospital policies
• Patient population: Individuals of all ages and their families

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• License: Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License from any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth (Arizona state license not required)
• Certifications (must maintain current throughout employment):

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) - to be completed within 6 months of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - to be completed within 6 months of hire

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs every 2 weeks
• COVID & Flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted after submitting a declination form
• Limited housing options available: shared housing units at $600/month, no family or pets allowed
• Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date
