Description

CT Technologist - Wenatchee, Washington

Employment Type: Long Term
Shift:

Evening/Night
3 shifts of 12 hours each (36 hours per week)
Shift hours: 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Will be taking call

Required Certifications and Experience:

ARRT certification
Washington State certification as radiologic technologist, registered in X-Ray
Experience with Shimadzu portable equipment
Experience with Rad speed pro, GE/OEC C-arms, including OR experience
EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience
BLS certification

Job Functions:

Prepare for and perform all examinations while safely operating assigned equipment
Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality
Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective scanner utilization
Maintain cleanliness of scanner and related equipment per infection control policies
Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision
Follow universal blood and body substance precautions and personal protective equipment requirements
Comply with continuing education requirements as mandated by regulatory bodies
Efficiently use current EMR and complete required documentation for each exam
Safely lift and transfer patients using ergonomic techniques and patient handling devices
Communicate with patients’ family members or caregivers when necessary

Contract Length: Approximately 16 weeks
