Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Travel RN with a minimum of 3 years Level 1 trauma training to work in the Operating Room specializing in General Surgery at a Level One Trauma Center.
Specialty & Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Operating Room RN
- Required Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years Level 1 trauma experience (higher of 2 or 3 years)
- Expertise in:
- Emergency General Surgery (EGS)
- Burns
- Trauma
- DaVinci Robotics
- Thoracic surgeries
- Liver surgeries
- Preferred additional skills: General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular
Work Schedule & Environment
- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Weekend Hours: 1:4 weekend rotation, 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
- Call Requirements: One overnight call (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) for Trauma call; specialty team call schedules apply for Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho teams
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Unit Beds: 26
- Equipment: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
- EMR System: Epic
