Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room (Travel)
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- PALS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIH Certification (updated yearly for Group A, every 2 years for Groups B-F)
- CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or MOAB De-Escalation Course (online portion prior to start; on-site portion at orientation)
- Ascension Cerner Test-Out (test results and training checklist with signed attestation)
- Ascension Specialty Exam (minimum 80% passing score, updated every 3 years)
- Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics; minimum 80% score, updated yearly)
- Ascension EKG Exam (passing score of at least 80%, updated as per latest edition)
Licensure & Verification
- Current nursing license with primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
- Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
- License/Certificate verification within 30 days prior to start
- Driver's License/State ID (must be valid and match address requirements)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- MMR: Proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
- Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Positive PPD or Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire (updated annually)
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) within required timeframes
- Fit Test: Required annually, preferred prior to start (specific mask types required)
- Health Statement: Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
Onboarding & Professional Requirements
- Forward-facing headshot with white or blue background (no alterations)
- Ascension Badge Photo
- Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
- Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding (completed onsite)
- Ascension Nova StatStrip (pre-hire modules for non-allied positions)
- Ascension Profile (resume or professional profile)
- Ascension 2 Professional References (at least two)
- Ascension Criminal Background Check (including SSN trace, employment verification, OIG search, National Sex Offender)
- Ascension EPLS (Exclusionary Party List System) check within 90 days of start
- Ascension Education Verification (within 90 days of start)
- Ascension Employment Verification (past 7 years, updated annually)
- Ascension Confirmation of Assignment (agency letterhead with start/end dates)
- Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical skills, completed within one year of start, updated annually)
