Candidate Requirements

• Must not have an Arizona home address on their driver’s license.
• Minimum of 24 months current PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience required.
• Certifications must be from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross, active at time of submission.
• Required certifications:

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)
• Active Arizona nursing license required at time of submission.
• License verification must be less than 30 days old.
• Skills checklist specific to nursing discipline, less than 1 year old.
• Flu vaccination status must be included; declinations can be applied for.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Resume must include all facilities, facility size, bed count, trauma level, and units worked.
• Driver’s license copy required.
• Candidates must be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment.

Assignment Details

• Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date.
• Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days and cannot be approved during the first week of assignment or holidays.
• All shifts and departments the candidate is willing to work must be clearly listed.
• Candidates must comply with specific background and compliance requirements.
• Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start.
• Non-billable hours are adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
• Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
